Happy 2010!

Happy 2010 Everyone!

Well after a long time I found a lil spare time to update my blog! Things were busy before Christmas & I was working over Christmas & so spent the New Year Chillin' out with family! I did however make a few cards! I made this card a few days ago after hearing that my Best Friend from school got engaged!

I decided to use some New Hero Arts 2010 stamps that I treated myself to! I'm loving the Horizontal Lines background cling and the owls are so cute! I used another new PTI set I got before Christmas but have only just inked up!

I think the card fits nicely into the New Hero Arts Theme this month! Valentines & Friendship. You can read about all the new things on the Hero Arts Blog HERE. I wonder what is in store for the New Year. I'm looking forward to finding out tomorrow!

I stamped the HA Stripped background onto Kraft CS using Raspberry Fizz ink. I then stamped the leaf image over the top using Fresh Snow ink. The owls are stamped using Memento Black ink & coloured with Copic Markers. I added some Raspberry Fizz Saddle Stitch Ribbon & some gems for that added sparkle!
