Nude & Neon!

Happy Friday!

It's been a lovely day here in the North East and it's supposed to be good weather tomorrow too :) Whilst enjoying the sun I found time to flick through the latest Elle Decoration magazine. It was full of inspiring stuff and one article was the A-Z of style. The letter N was titled Nudes and Neons.

Stating that one the surface these two colour groups are like chalk and cheese but put them together and you get something new, fresh and exciting. I was inspired by this article and decided to make a card using the two colour groups.

I just had to test out my new Butterfly Dreams set from PTI and the co-ordinating die also! I also wanted to incorporate the new Hawaiian Shores colour. Putting the new colour with Raspberry Fizz gave it a neon feel against the softness of Kraft.

I kept the card really simple and the butterflies also, with only a lil black bling down the centre of each butterfly. I used a Background Basics Diamond stamp stamping it with Hawaiian Shores ink directly onto the Kraft card base. The sentiment is from the Paper Tray set another new set I splashed out on!

Today was the start of my 10 days off from work :) so apart from finishing degree work I am going to find some time to play with all my craft stash and also seriously think about what I am going to order next from PTI! I'm liking Fly Away, Masculine Motifs and Little Argyle so fare but I am sure the list will grow!

Hope to check in tomorrow with another card! Have a great day/evening! Thanks for stopping by!

Gorgeous, the pink and turquoise really POP against the kraft CS! Those butterfly stamps and die are really calling to me.
