I felt like making a card this morning and Dawn's color challenge #12 inspired me! On a bit of a downer today :( probably because I'm still not 100%. Anyway, I really like the colors Dawn chose for this challenge, shame my new PTI order hasn't arrived as I've ordered some of the scarlet jewel color!
I had some satin ribbon in my stash which fitted in with the colors quite perfectly and I used a scrap of Bazzill Swiss Dots DP to punch my butterfly out of.
I have had the Upsy Daisy stamp set for a while now but haven't really used it much but was inspired to use it today! I stamped the image on cream card stock with Raspberry Fizz and matted it with Raspberry Fizz CS. This is adhered to the Spring Moss card base using foam pads.
I'm really enjoying using the sentiments from PTI's Handwritten Notes set! The close up photo below just shows the color difference of the butterfly a little better against the Raspberry Fizz.
{Ingredients}
Card Stock: Cream from Stash, PTI Raspberry Fizz & Spring Moss
Ink: PTI Raspberry Fizz, SU! Old Olive
Stamps: SU! Upsy Daisy, PTI Handwritten Notes
Accessories: Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, Papermania Gems, Satin Ribbon, Foam Pads, Bazzill Swiss Dots DP
Taking it easy today and resting up to recover fully from this swine flu! Hope to have the energy to do one more project for the Hero Arts 'Website' challenge. Thanks for stopping by!
