Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 25 & Another SPCC Color Combo!

This is my second post for today! I thought I would post tonight as I won't be posting tomorrow as I am out for the whole day and it's an early start, I will be up at 5 am! I whole 5 hours early from my usual day off sleep in!

I created a card for this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and I decided to use a previous color combo from SPCC. Below is the sketch and the color combo from SPCC week 2.

I kept my card really simple and all of my stamps are HERO ARTS! My paper and card stock is SU! I had bought 2 new HA stamps a while back but had not got round to using them. The sentiment is from a set I bought about a year ago but keep forgetting I have it!! Must be a sign that I have way too much stuff!! It doesn't stop me buying new stuff though!

I wanted to create a more manly card so I limited my use of Rose Red. It looks like I have used two different greens but I achieved this look by first stamping the fern in clear ink and embossing it with clear powder. I then stamped the screen shadow over the top using the certainly celery ink.

Stamps: Hero Arts Screen Shadow K5107, Three Ferns S5154, Small Greetings LL662

Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Hero Arts Gems, SU! Circle & Scalloped Circle Punches

These are 3 colors I would not have thought to put together, but I really enjoyed using them to create my card for this weeks SSSC!
