SPCC Challenge #6

So I thought I was feeling a bit better today but no where near 100% :( but anyway I decided to have a go at this weeks SPCC Challenge #6. Below are this weeks colors and I was really excited until I saw the Razzleberry color! That just stumped me as I have only just ordered my in colors from the US from my friend and they haven't arrived yet. So I had to search through my stash to find a substitute!

Apologies in advance for the poor photo quality I'm so not at my best and it was MEGA raining today so I couldn't take my pics outside like I wanted to.

My card is a simple layout and I am quite pleased at how it turned out!

The close up shows the butterfly's colors better, I found a small piece of scrap in my DP draw and I think it's Bazzill Basics Swiss Dotted Paper in a burgundy color. I stamped the Hero Arts Heart Winged Butterfly in Chocolate Chip onto the paper. Then I went over the stamped image with my clear Spica pen to add a touch of glitter. The leaf image from PTI Beautiful Bloom is stamped onto Whisper White Card using Chocolate Chip and matted onto Kiwi Kiss. The card base is Baja Breeze. I used the sentiment from PTI's Handwritten Notes which is such a versatile set with up to the minute sentiments!

Well, I hope to be feeling a bit better tomorrow so I can craft more and not feel like my head is about to explode! I have a few more ideas and if I get chance I would like to make another card for this challenge! Off to get some well needed rest to recover from this possible swine flu! The joys of being a nurse, most likely picked it up at work!
